New!!!!

Yay, I'm using my new PC now. No more typing html codes for the different fonts colours, etc.. Lalalalala.. everything is just a click awayText Color. Dell supports Window XP, Blogger supports Window XP and kayie supports Window XP too! :)

And guess what. The PC was set up by yours truly, the supposedly IT-bobo. Not that I wanna brag about it , it was really such an easy task! Chicken feet. No big deal. Maybe I should seriously consider changing to the IT industry... hahahahaha...
The most difficult task of all was probably removing the damn heavy, monstrous, giant monitor off the table to make way for the new one. Strictly speaking, even this is not any technical part of setting up a PC, but anyway the monster was really damn heavy. I was glad that I didn't sprain my back lifting it off the table to the living room. In comparison, its successor is so much slimmer, lighter and smaller. I could easily lift it up using one hand (no kidding!). There's really no doubt about small being beautiful. Cheers for the ever-advancing technology! And cheers for all the small ones! :)

But there's one thing that I wasn't too sure if I've made the right purchase. The wireless keyboard and the mouse. What was I thinking when I actually clicked for it. I realise I can't even lie on my bed or anywhere else to type. Cos I simply can't see what's on the screen if I'm away from my table even with my specs on. Other than that, they are ok, just like any other keyboard and mouse. At least maybe I can put it on my laps to type if I feel like it.

Now that the proper system is up and complete, it's time for some super high-speed connection. And stop confusing friends that dial-up is actually the fastest based on their unproven theory which states that dial-up could be faster than broadband bcos of its relatively low (or close to nil) user traffic as compared to the widely-popular but traffic-congested broadband. I've even got a friend who's so jealous of the speed of my dial-up that he's thinking of switching to it from broadband.. oh my, I think I better get my broadband subscription real soon.

Hmmm, Starhub or Singtel???
