Morning, Sunday! =)

It has been so long that I remember how a Sunday morning feels like. Usually sunday mornings are meant for catching up on beauty sleep and restoring my energy level before the next hectic week starts sucking me dry again. When we were younger, me and my brother were always pulled out of the bed by my mum early in the morning on sundays so that the whole family can go out for breakfast together.

Usually my dad would drive us to chinatown area to yam cha as my parents love to do their marketing there -- at the Chinatown market. And that was the only place where you could really get all your meats, fishes, frogs and eels fresh. So fresh that they are slaughtered only when you tell the seller that you are buying (but of cos, not the beef, mutton or pork). Each time as I watched the animals get brutally knocked unconscious and then slaughtered, I always vowed to my parents that I'd be a vegetarian forever and would even request my mum to specially prepare a vegetarian dish for my meals from then onwards... wohohohoho but by evening time, the moment my mum brought out all the dishes from the kitchen, amazingly the vows were nullified and I'm carnivous again :)

Today I was pulled out of my bed by my mum. At 8plus. At 8plus plus. At 8plus plus plus. And then finally at 9plus. I'ven't been pulled out of the bed by my mum for a very long time. She's still as persistent as ever though. I'ven't seen or felt the sunday sun for a very long time too. It felt so strange to see the sun beams rushing in to brighten up my room as I pulled my blinds up. But it felt so niceeee and warm :) Today is going to be a beautiful Sunday.

Happy Birthday Mie-mie! =)
