冻奶茶

Ice cold, thick, smooth but not too milky.
hmmmm... add liong fen to it... woooooo... heavenly. I could simply die for it.

Most of the kopi-tiams can only make 冻奶 as the kopi-tiam uncle/ auntie always thought that by adding just 1 percent of 茶 to make the colour slightly nudish, it's 冻奶茶. Nooooooooo.... it gotta be 冻-奶-茶, ice, milk and tea. All in equal portions. Get it?

I always thought the only place I could have my best all-time favourite would be in HK. And the second best would be the blended, slightly frothy, cold teh-c served at the ya-kun near my office.

But today I found a place in Taka that serves equally good 冻奶茶 . Already not many places would have it so well made -- thick and smooth. And now I can add the black jelly to it? Really, I can? Oh my, yes, I want! I want!

Lalalalallalallala.... slurp slurp.. lalalalala... slurp slurp slurp... aaaaaarhh... I like :) Damn it, it's soooo satisfying!

It would be perfect just like those served in HK 茶餐厅 if those little tiny ice-cubes were used. Nevertheless, it's good enough. Good enough, Central :)
