A friend was complaining to me about her nasty boss today again. Her boss belongs to those scold-and-scold type. You know, those wrong scold, correct also scold, so long as he's buay song, he scolds. Like scolding is part of their job scope. I really feel sorry for my friend for having to work for such a boss. No worry gal, your day will come! :)
To me, having a good boss is more important than anything else, it even beats having a pay increment. For an increment is superficial, but serving a good boss is psychologically satisfying, allows for self-recognition, achievement and most importantly respect. However it seems that there are too many such scold-and-scolds in the commercial. Maybe this is why I couldn't survive long out there and have to come crawling back. Wohohohohoho..
But then again, all my clients that I deal with day in day out are commercial people :( However the good thing about these people is that they really make me more cautious on how I do things, like keeping all correspondences esp. emails as evidences and throw them back at their face when the need arises. And make me really practise and kill with words and sacarsm, be it in email, verbal or written behind a sweet smiling innocent face :)
It just reminded me of this client who called and demanded for her company's FS a few days back.
"Hello, hey when are you going to issue the FS? It has been very long already. How can you do things like that???!!.... #$%$nasty&^%*lousy&^(^&1@#!!!!!!!!"
As she went on and went on the phone without giving me a chance to talk, I kept my cool and did all my things that didn't require the use of my ears. I'd only fall short of filing and polishing my nails when she finally stopped to catch her breathe. Giving me a chance to speak at last.
"Hello, miss, you haven't returned me the signing pages. How do you expect me to ask my typing pool to help you bind the FS?"
"Oh must need signing pages ar?"
Please la, don't scold like a fool can. You think by being fierce then the FS can miraculously pops out without the directors' signing pages is it?
