It's the time of the year again. Off-peak! Holidays! :) Lalalalalalalala...
Somehow it seems that off-peak is now synonymous with overseas holiday trips? There isn't a single soul in office who is not going out of the country for their toil/ leave. Hong Kong, Bangkok, Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan which seems to be the hottest spot at the moment (Overhyped? Or really that fun to visit??)... everyone is going somewhere this off-peak.
The message is: If you'ren't, you are going to be the loser who is going to be recalled back to cover for those who are.. wohohohoho... So even if you're not going somewhere, you better just pretend you are.. wohohohoho...
Not going to anywhere super exciting this off-peak, except to settle for a short trip to Bangkok and possibly a diving trip in neighbouring country. What to do - no $$ no talk :(
Going for a big holiday trip would mean I'd have to trade away a leather-cat-scratch-proof sofa for self-made bean bags, walk-in wardrobe with PVC zip-up cupboard complete with china floral prints (or do you called that a cupboard at all in the first place??) and possibly a Fisher and Paykel fridge for the white syrofoam ice-box??? Wohohohohoho...
I do love holidays, but the law of economics says opportunity costs count even more. What to do? I'm already a slave to an apartment which I've never seen before... wahahaha... Lalalalalalalala...
