Goodbye Kitties...

For those who are interested in knowing how the kittens have been...

I'm very sorry that the kittens have been taken away by someone a couple of hours ago, leaving only the mother cat looking helplessly for its missing kittens. It was just a matter of hours that the kittens were removed from their 5-day old home. If only I hadn't been lazy and taken the much-regretted nap, I would have caught the culprit :(

The defenceless kittens can't see cos their eyes aren't opened yet, can't move around cos they can't even crawl steadily.. They'll need at least another 3 - 4 weeks before they could wean off their mother. It is so heartbreaking to watch the helpless mother cat searching high and low for her precious ones.. her distressing meows and her frantic turns to look at you every time you make some noise, it's really depressing... very very depressing :(

High chance is that the person who removed the kittens is the person who left the felines there. Nobody knew we had kept them there for the past few days, not even my next-door neighbours. They only found out today when the mother cat went into their homes in attempt to search for its kittens.

Whoever the person is, I can only pray for the best for the kittens. I really hope they are in good loving hands cos they deserve a chance to live like any other living things.
